Formal living room with a combination of antique and reproduction Louis XV and XVI furniture. Walls were striéd a golden hue by a decorative painter giving the illusion of linen silk. Crown molding was added and gilded to complement the gold damask drapery treatment. Blue chinoiserie accent pillows tie together the blue in the oriental rug, Louis XV armchairs and Louis XVI settee.

We worked with client and builder to create a family home in a casual elegance style. Living room with 20 foot ceilings. Oriental rug purchased in New York pulled together some of the client's existing upholstered pieces. Window treatments were designed to frame the 2 story window yet not block the view.

Client moved from California where they had light, airy modern furniture, which was more suited for the warmer climate. Their new home is an older traditional colonial. The new furniture, oriental rug and drapery created a more sophisticated environment. The blue and yellow “leopard” print ottoman provided additional seating as well as a whimsical accent piece. Cabinetry was designed and built to conceal audio visual equipment.

New Construction. Light and airy living room exudes a casual elegance. Chaise provides a cozy spot to curl up and read a book.
Contemporary Living Room | Location: Tribeca, New York
Tribeca loft was transformed from an empty shell to a three bedroom home. Client wanted the light and views from the perimeter windows to be seen from the interior. To accommodate this, curved walls were built to create separate living spaces, but they extended only partially to the ceiling. Curved shaped furniture was purchased to compliment and mirror the curved walls.
